Sodium Content: 60 mg per 30 mL dose.

Uses: Temporarily relieves cough due to a common cold. Helps loosen phlegm to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus.

Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product without first asking a doctor if you are take a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug or if you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI.

Dosing Duration & When to Ask a Doctor:

If a cough persists for more than 7 days, recurs, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be the sign of a serious condition.
